ABOUT ME?
I am a
award winning, multiple
number 1 on-line chart jazz composer
and recording artist, a top 5 on-line chart Rock, Pop and Easy
Listening composer, recording
artist and multi-instrumentalist based in Sydney Australia. I cover
trumpet, trombone, saxophone, guitar as well as sing, compose and arrange.
Some highlights in my career are:-
Numerous performances
on Film, T.V., Radio and recordings
Performances with many
Jazz greats including Bob and Len Barnard, Ricky May, Sue Cruickshank, Norman
Erskine, Dave Dallwitz, Paul Furniss, Big Bands and Jazz
ensembles
Backed legends such
as Jackie Trent & Tony Hatch (Neighbours, everybody needs good
neighbours....), The Deltones, Doug Parkinson, Brian Cadd (a little
ray of sunshine...), Jackie Love
(legs!!!!) etc.
A highlight in
Greg's early career was when Sammy Davis Jnr wandered into the bar
he was playing with his band and sat in for a memorable "Birth of
the Blues".
Currently playing guitar with the Sydney
80's Rock Band 'Glory Daze'.
Currently
studying guitar under
Carmine D'Amico (worlds greatest ever studio guitarist with 24 Grammy Awards).

Performed for
many years at Stadium Australia and the Sydney Football Stadium for the
NSW and Australian Rugby Union and Rugby League
Performed at 35,000 feet
in a Qantas Jumbo Jet over the Antarctic on New Years Eve (with the Abbey Jazz
Band).
My hobbies include music
composition, oil painting and Horse riding. I live on a farm on the outskirts of Sydney with my wife Libby
and our horses and dog.

from Jazz and Swing through Pop and Rock
Ozz Jazz - which is the traditional 'Dixieland'
